The allGeo system provides the location of the load based on the cell of the driver. Based on ownership (company owned & driver owned phone) you can add phone into allGeo using multiple ways. Please choose from below, the option that best suits your business.
For End-User / Driver owned Phones
Bulk Provisioning devices
For a list of phones to be added (that are owned by the user), fill out this Employee-Phone-Numbers.CSV file. Once the CSV file details are filled out, you can send the file to support@abaq.us (please mention your company name in the subject line). You can also upload the file at the bottom of the page and the system will automatically register the devices.
Adding loads one-by-one
Here are the steps to add devices one at a time (fields highlighted in the screen above):
From the Manage Load option click on the Add/Edit Load tab:
Enter the phone number in the format 9876543210 (without spaces or special formatting like 987-654-3210)
Against the 'Load ID#' enter a the device's description usually the load/driver name.
You can also select to have a custom schedule made for the new load.
Accept terms by checking the box against it. Select Opt-In to send an Optin request to the cell phone.
Click Add to add the device. This device will be listed amount other below.
*Note: If Optin is checked, a text message will be sent to the user requesting consent. The driver needs to respond with 'Yes' to Opt-in for location services. Learn more on this here: How to Optin
Contract Drivers Optin Process
If the company includes the language (sample text below) ‘GPS based load tracking’ in their rate contract or other form of document which is signed by the Driver / Carrier and or the Company has verbally communicated the location tracking requirements to the Drivers, your loads can be directly provisioned and opted into the service (doesn't require a consent from the end-user). An optin notification will be sent to the driver's phone. allGeo provides an online authorization form that can be electronically signed.
SAMPLE SCRIPT
We (<company name>) are required to track the load you will be carrying through to the destination. In order to accomplish this, we are using a new technology (allGeo, a service by Abaqus Inc.) that will allow us to obtain the approximate location of your mobile phone. This technology will only be used with your consent and only while carrying a load for us. You will need to keep your phone powered on while driving and you will receive a notification via text message that you have been opted in to the service once we have added your information in to their system. At any time, you can reply to that message with the word “stop” and it will stop tracking and the Company will be notified that you have disabled the service. This service will automatically be shut off upon delivery of the shipment. Do you agree to these terms?
