Here is how to setup custom auto-track schedule:

  • Navigate to 'Add/Edit Load' tab on under the Manage Load tab

  • Select the load and click on the 'Setup' button as seen in the screen below.

Setting Up Tracking Schedules & Frequencies:

  • Select ping frequency for this load from the drop down option (default, 2 hr, 3hr or 4hrs).  Where the  'Default' value is the default frequency settings for your account (seen in the Account Admin Page)

  • Set up the auto tracking duration for this load by selecting the 'from' and 'to' date for this load run via the calendar tool

  • Select 'Auto Opt-in' to automatically opt the device the device when the schedule starts, similarly 'Auto Opt-out' if selected will automatically opt the device out when the tracking schedule ends.

  • The system also allows you add 'Origin and destination' addresses and can send alerts with distance and ETA.  After setting the frequency and the auto-track preference, select the Origin and destination sites for this load from the drop-down lists (see screen above).  Learn more on how to create Origin & Destination from here

Note: By selecting 'Auto opt-in' option an opt-in request will be sent to user owned phones (the user needs to respond 'Yes' to complete opt-in process) and an opt-in notification will be sent to a company owned phone

Stopping Tracking of a Load

Once a load run in completed, the tracking will be automatically stopped.  However, at any time you can manually Stop the auto tracking schedule, here is how:

  • Navigate to 'Add/Edit Load' tab on under the Manage Load section

  • Select the load and click on the 'Stop' button.
