Once you've provisioned the phone numbers into the system, you'll need to opt-in these devices to be able to locate from the web portal. This is a legal privacy requirement. Here is how to opt-in:
For Employee-owned Phones:
Login to you allGeo account.
Go to 'Phone Admin' (or the 'Team' page)
Select the device(s) that you want to opt-in. (# 3 as seen in the screen below)
Select 'Opt-in via SMS' from the Dropdown menu. (#4 as seen in the screen below)
Hit 'Go' button. This will send a text message requesting Opt-in consent to the selected phones
Your employees would need reply 'YES' to the opt-in text message they will receive from us on their phone. Once opted in, the phone will be locatable from the web portal.
For Company-owned Phones:
For company owned phones you can directly opt-in your devices without needing a text approval from the end user. Please contact us and we will send you the phone authorization form, using which you can simply add and opt-in phones directly.
Please note: allGeo is a certified partner of all the major telecom operators in the US. To get this certification, we have had to put a rigorous privacy management process and auditing system in place.
