allGeo can securely track a user's phone location for authorized workforce use, subject to strict privacy and permission controls enforced by iOS and Android. Location tracking occurs only within the permissions granted on the device and the background-location capabilities provided by the operating system.
Background location tracking is therefore user-controlled and OS-permitted.
User-Triggered Interruptions
Tracking can be restricted or stopped when the user:
Changes or revokes the app's location or background-location permissions
Force-stops or manually stops the app
Enables battery-saving or app-restriction settings
Shuts down or restarts the device
OS-Triggered Interruptions
Even when the user has granted the required permissions, iOS or Android can independently restrict or interrupt background location tracking as part of normal OS operation, including:
Suspending or terminating background applications to manage system resources
Applying battery and power-management policies
Restricting the frequency or delivery of background location updates
Therefore, temporary gaps in location data can occur even when the correct permissions are granted and allGeo is correctly configured, due to OS-level background execution and resource-management controls.
