Time Clocking (Basic Automatic) Report

This article explains the Time Clocking report - its usage, generation and comprehension.

The Time Clock (Basic Automatic) report is a part of the automatic time and attendance reporting that can be used for payroll purposes.

This report gives you details on when the employee(s) arrived or departed from a job-site and how much time they spend (in hrs.) at a job site (Geo-fenced job site). Arrival to and departure from geo sites will be shown.

To reach the 'Reports':

  1. Click on 'Reports'.

  2. Click on 'Group'.

  3. Click on 'Time-clocking- tab.

Here's how you can run the Time Clocking (Basic Automatic) report:

- Click on the 'Basic Automatic' Report:

  1. Select whether to Run/Download/Email the report.

  2. Select the Employee name from the dropdown for whom you want to run the report.

  3. Select the Time Zone.

  4. Select the Date range.

  5. Click on Get Report to generate the report.

Below is a sample report for you to check:

In the above report, the column headers are explained as such:

  1. Arrival Date/Time: It shows at what time and on which date the employee(s) has entered the job site.

  2. Off Shift Date/Time: It shows at what time and on which date the employee(s) has left the job site.

  3. Service Time: It shows the total hours the employee(s) has/have worked.

  4. Service Rate: It is a performance metric that is used to calculate the normal hours along with the overtime hours the employee(s) has/have worked for a particular date.

  5. Segment Miles: It shows the total distance travelled by employee(s).

  6. Total Service Hours: It shows the total hours the employee(s) have worked for the specified date range.

  7. Total Service Rate: It is a performance metric that is used to calculate the normal hours along with the overtime hours the employee(s) has/have worked for the specified date range.

  8. Total Segment miles: It shows the total distance the employee(s) have travelled for the specified date range.

Note: N/A under address header in Reports indicates that the GPS was turned off and thus the App was not able to get a location at that particular time.
