Adding Tasks(s) in allGeo

Tasks page lets you view all the tasks at one place. You can create new tasks, edit and delete the existing ones.

How to reach the page?

  • Click on 'Company'

  • Click on 'Tasks'

  • You will land on the Tasks page.



A. Tasks Page Main View

  • Show status (Active/Inactive) will show you active inactive tasks respectively

  • You can click the ‘Refresh’ icon to refresh the Tasks page

  • 'Export to Excel' lets you export all the tasks details to a CSV file

  • The search functionality will enable you to search for a specific task

  • Click 'Inactivate' after selecting a task to change the status of the task


B. Add a new Task

To create/add a new task click on ‘Add new’ button from the main view page :

(For adding Individual Task)

  1. Set status Active or Inactive

  2. Enter Task ID and Task Name

  3. Click on Advanced Setup for other fields

  4. Click on ‘Add’ to successfully add a task.

Note: We will validate if the ‘Task ID’ entered by you is unique or not. If the ‘Task ID’ already exists, you will see a message “Task ID already exists”.

(For adding Multiple Tasks)

  1. Click on Multiple option in the Add Task(s) pop-up

  2. You can browse to choose CSV file or drag and drop CSV file directly

  3. Click on 'Add' button to upload the file

  4. After successful upload you will see a success toast message: ‘’Bulk addition of multiple tasks is completed successfully’’

Note : You can download sample CSV file by clicking 'Download task details CSV file here'


C. View a Task

To view a task and its related details:

  1. Click on the 'View (eye)' icon next to the task from the main view page.

  2. Click on 'Done' to go back to the Main view.

Note : You can edit and delete tasks directly from the view page.

D. Edit a Task

To edit a task and related details:

  1. Click on the ‘Edit (pencil)’ icon for the particular task

  2. You can edit the Active Status, Task Name, Task ID and the other advanced fields

  3. To save the changes click on ‘Save’

  4. When clicking on ‘Cancel’

    • If you have made edit(s) : You will see a pop up - “The changes are still unsaved. Are you sure you want to leave?

    • If you click on ‘Yes’, none of the changes are saved

    • If you click on ‘Cancel’, you will remain on the Edit page


E. Delete a Task

To delete a task :

  1. Click on the ‘Delete(bin)’ icon on the sticky panel next to the task.

  2. You will see a pop up - “Are you sure you want to delete?"

  3. Click on ‘Yes’ to delete.

  4. Click on ‘Cancel’ to cancel

To bulk delete tasks :

  1. Select the checkboxes of the tasks that you want to delete.

  2. Click on ‘Bulk Delete’.

  3. You will see a pop up “Are you sure you want to delete the selected records?”.

  4. Click on ‘Yes’ to delete.

  5. Click on ‘Cancel’ to go back to the main view.
