Locate Scheduler lets you take a view of all the existing locate schedules, add a new one, delete a existing one, view and edit a schedule’s details so that you can manage all the information around locate schedules in the company account efficiently.

How to reach the page?

  • Click on 'Monitor'

  • Click on 'Locate Scheduler' Tab

  • You will land on the Locate Scheduler page


A. Locate Scheduler Main View

  • You can click the ‘Refresh’ icon to refresh the Locate Scheduler page.

  • Click 'Add New' button to add a new Locate Schedule.

  • Click 'Bulk Delete' after selecting to bulk delete Locate Schedules at once.

  • 'Export to Excel' lets you export all the Locate Schedule details to a CSV file.

  • The search functionality will enable you to search for a specific Locate Schedule.

  • Show Status (Active/Inactive) will show you active inactive Locate Schedules respectively.

B. Add a new Locate Schedule

To create/add a new Locate Schedule click on ‘+ Add new’ button from the main view page :

  1. Enter the Scheduler ID.

  2. Set status Active or Inactive.

  3. Select the Group or Employee for which you want to create the schedule for.

  4. In the Track Settings (For Recurring Schedule)

    1. Select the Recurring checkbox.

    2. Select the Start Date of the schedule.

    3. Select Daily/Weekly if you want the schedule to repeat daily or weekly.

      1. For Weekly select the days of the week.

    4. Select the End date of the Schedule.

      1. Select 'Ends on Never' to run the schedule perpetually.

    5. Select the time zone and the time frame between which you want the schedule to run.

    6. Select the tracking frequency (Continuously or Manually)

      1. For Continuously, select the desired frequency.

      (For Non Recurring Schedule)

    7. Unselect the Recurring checkbox

    8. Select the Start Day and Time, End Day and Time and the Time Zone.

    9. Select the tracking frequency (Continuously or Manually)

      1. For Continuously, select the desired frequency.

  5. Click on 'Done' to add the Locate Schedule.


C. Delete a Locate Schedule

To delete a Locate Schedule :

  1. Click on the ‘Delete(Bin)’ icon on the sticky panel next to the Locate Schedule.

  2. You will see a pop up - “Are you sure you want to delete?"

  3. Click on ‘Yes’ to delete.

  4. Click on ‘Cancel’ to cancel.

To bulk delete Locate Schedule :

  1. Select the checkboxes of the Locate Schedules that you want to delete.

  2. Click on ‘Bulk Delete’.

  3. You will see a pop up “Are you sure you want to delete the selected records?”.

  4. Click on ‘Yes’ to delete.

  5. Click on ‘Cancel’ to go back to the main view.


D. View a Locate Schedule

To view a Locate Schedule details :

  1. Click on the 'View (Eye)' icon next to the Locate Schedule from the main view page.

  2. You can view the Scheduler ID, Status, Track Settings and to which Group/Employee the Locate Schedule is assigned to.

  3. Click on 'Done' to go back to the Main view.

Note : You can edit and delete a Locate Schedule directly from the view pop-up.


E. Edit a Locate Schedule

To edit a Locate Schedule details :

  1. Click on the ‘Edit (pencil)’ icon on the sticky panel next to the Locate Schedule.

  2. You can edit the Active Status, Tracking Settings and the assignment of the Locate Schedule to another Group/Employee.

  3. To save the changes click on ‘Save’.

  4. When clicking on ‘Cancel’.

    • If you have made edit(s) : You will see a pop up - “The changes are still unsaved. Are you sure you want to leave?

    • If you click on ‘Yes’, no changes will be saved.

    • If you click on ‘Cancel’, you will remain on the Edit pop-up.


F. Copy a Locate Schedule

To copy an existing Locate Schedule's details and create a Locate Schedule:

  1. Click on the ‘Copy' icon next to the Locate Schedule from the main view page.

  2. You will see the Copy Locate Scheduler pop-up similar to the add new Locate Schedule pop-up.

  3. Enter the details for the new Locate Schedule

  4. Click on ‘Done’ to successfully add a Locate Schedule copying all the other details.

Note: All the details of Locate Schedule will get copied except the Schedule ID
