This article will guide you through the Monitor Employee page, a new revamped page in the allGeo web app that helps managers effectively manage and track their field employees.

What can you do on this page?

  • View Timeclock data and report at a glance to manage day to day operations effectively.

  • Send quick messages your employees and receive real time notifications from the field for better communication.

Along with existing features like change job statuses, see device status data, suspend or activate employees

How to access the Monitor Employee page:

  1. Login to your allGeo account.

  2. Click on "Monitor"

Main View :

Index :


Time Clock Data :

This card will show you the number of employees in different stages during the day helping you to quickly have a glance on the status of your employees. You can then expand the section to get more data.

Note : The stages would depend based on your account settings.

  1. Click on refresh button to get latest data.

  2. Click the expanded view button to get more detailed information.

  3. You can also pin this view in a new tab by clicking the pin icon at the top.

  4. You can manage each employee and perform following functions

    1. Add new employee to your account.

    2. Suspend employees.

    3. Delete any employee/employees.

    4. Change their job-statuses

A. To create a new employee : Click on ‘Add new’ button from the main page view

(For adding Individual Employee)

  1. Add employee name.

  2. Add phone number along with country code.

  3. Select time zone.

  4. Select a group for employee.

  5. Select checkbox ‘View Service Terms’.

  6. Select checkbox 'Opt-in & send App download link'.

  7. Click on ‘Add’ to successfully add a new employee.

(For adding Multiple Employee)

You can add multiple employee's by uploading a CSV file

  1. You can browse to choose CSV file or drag and drop CSV file directly.

  2. Click on 'Add' button to upload the file.

Note : You can download sample CSV file by clicking 'Click here to download employee details CSV file'

B. To suspend a device:

  1. Click on 'Suspend' icon on the action panel for the employee that you want to suspend.

  2. You will see a pop up - “Are you sure you want to suspend Device?"

  3. Click on ‘Yes’ to suspend.

  4. Click on ‘Cancel’ to cancel.

To bulk suspend :

1. Select the checkboxes of the records that you want to suspend.

2. Click on ‘Bulk Suspend’.

3. You will see a pop up “Are you sure you want to suspend the selected records?”.

4. Click on ‘Yes’ to suspend.

5. Click on ‘Cancel’ to go back to the main view.

C. To delete an employee and related details :

  1. Click on the ‘Delete (bin)' on the action panel.

  2. You will see a pop up - “Are you sure you want to delete?"

  3. Click on ‘Yes’ to delete

  4. Click on ‘No, take me back’ to cancel

To Bulk Delete employee's :

  1. Select all the employee's that you want to delete

  2. Click on 'Bulk Delete' to delete all the selected employee's

D. To change the job status:

  1. Click on 'Change Job Status' icon on the action panel for the employee that you want to get the location for.

  2. Change Job Status pop-up opens up.

  3. Select the desired job status for the employee that you want to change to.

  4. Click on 'Change' to save the same.


Notifications and Alerts :

  1. Notifications and Alerts is a new feature that we have introduced in our monitor page to help you monitor incoming notifications from the field employees.

  2. Click on refresh button to get the latest notifications.

  3. You can also send messages to your employees by clicking the Send Message button.
    Note : This is same functionality that we have in our previous version. You can refer the other help article attached above.

  4. To send a Message to Employees :

    1. Select the employee from the dropdown list.

    2. Select the message channel : SMS or In-App.

    3. From the Message Templates dropdown you can select from the existing list of templates in the account.

    4. Click on 'Send' to send the message

  5. You can expand this card by clicking the expanded view button and pin the same in the main view.


Time Clock Report :

The timeclock report section shows you a basic time clock report for the present day. The table aims to provide you with time clock report with necessary information that you can download as per your convenience to keep a check on day to day operations.

  1. Click on refresh the data in the table.

  2. You can type in specific keywords in the search box to search for a particular employee.

  3. Click on "Export to Excel" button will export the data from the table to .xlsx file.

  4. You can view the check-in and check-out time for each employee along with other details like job-site, task name, total hours, etc.

Note :
1.The table and cards will show only present day's data. Refer our reports section to check out historical data.
2. To resolve any issues or refresh your session, it is recommended to follow the "Clear Cache & Re-login" steps. First, clear the cache in your browser. This will ensure that you are loading the most recent version of the application. Once the cache is cleared, log out of your account and then log back in. This step helps to reset your session and ensures that any changes are properly applied.
